RAJOURI: The 67th Republic Day of India was celebrated Valley View Army Public School, Rajouri with religious and an enthralling cultural programme. Maj Gen DA Chaturvedi, SM, GOC, Ace of Spades Division and Patron of the School was the Chief Guest on the occasion accompanied by Sujata Chaturvedi (Chairperson FWO, Ace of Spades Division) who hoisted the National Flag along with release of colourfull balloons to mark the commencement of the function.
On the occasion of 67th Republic Day, flag hoisting ceremony was held at the Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University Rajouri in front of VC Secretariat. The ceremony was attended by Deans, Officers and other staff of the University. In his message, Prof Javed Musarrat Vice Chancellor BGSBU recalled the patriotic history of the Country and called upon the youth to follow the ideals established by the Nationalists.
REASI: The 67th Republic Day was celebrated with great fervour and charm by the Rashtriya Rifles Battalions under the aegis of Counter Insurgency Uniform Force Headquarters, Reasi.
The National Flag was hoisted in presence of a large number of students at Mahore, Samote, Gool, Talwara, Nowshera, Kalal, Kalakote and Jhangar.
Republic Day was celebrated in Government Girls Higher Secondary School Reasi in which the Tricolour was unfurled by Principal of the school P.D Sharma.
The principal in his address to the students explained the significance of the event.
KATRA: The 67th Republic Day was celebrated with traditional fervour and patriotism at Katra.
The main function at Katra was held at the Shrine Board Sports Complex, where Ajeet Kumar Sahu, Chief Executive Officer, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, hoisted the Tricolour and took salute at an impressive march-past by the contingents drawn from CRPF, J&K Police, NCC Boys and Girls, Scouts and Guides, besides the students of various educational institutions of Katra and its surrounding areas.
Among those present on the occasion were Dr. M. K. Kumar, Additional Chief Executive Officer, Pankaj Gupta and Dr. Arvind Karwani, Deputy Chief Executive Officers, Hem Kant Prasher, Chief Accounts Officer of the Shrine Board, Anil Chandel, SDM, Katra, Sumir Kotwal, Additional SP, Katra, Sunil Kumar, Commandant, CRPF 6th Bn., Mr. Rajinder Singh, OSD (Revenue), SMVDSB, Ashok Kumar, Director Sports, SMVDSB, senior civil and Police officers, prominent citizens, heads of various educational institutions, media persons, officers and staff of the Shrine Board, a large number of people of the area, teachers, school children and the pilgrims. As part of the Republic Day celebrations, Ajeet Kumar Sahu, CEO, SMVDSB, also hoisted the Tricolour at a function held at the Central Office of the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board at Katra.
Meanwhile, Katra Youth Circle also celebrated Republic Day in which the members of Circle distributed notebooks, pens, eatables and autobiographies of legends like Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, Rajguru, Neta Ji Subash Chander Bose and Chander Shekhar Azad.
Those who were present on the occasion -Chetan Anandit, Sanjay Raj Kumar, Manik Sharma, Danish and DK President Youth Circle.
RAMBAN: In Ramban District the main function of the 67th Republic Day was held at the District Police Lines, Chandrog under the overcast sky and later a slight drizzle with patriotic fervour and traditional zeal, here.
The function had begun with the unfurling of the National Flag by the Chief Guest, the District Development Commissioner, Ramban, Basheer Ahmed Dar followed by the National Anthem.
At last the prizes were distributed among the best three performers of cultural programme and parade by the Chief Guest, DDC MLA, Ramban, Neelam Kumar Langeh, Commander11-Sector,Brigadier K.P Singh and SSP, Ramban, Randeep Kumar. The students, officials and prominent citizens were also awarded for their distinguished services in their respective fields. At the headquarters of Banihal, Ramsu and Gool Sub-Divisions and 7 Tehsils of the Ramban district, the SDMs and the Tehsildars or Naib-Tehsildars respectively unfurled the National Flag and took salute of the parading contingents.

The 67th Republic Day was celebrated in Bharatiya Vidya Mandir (BVM) High School Ramban with national fervour, patriotic zeal and enthusiasm.
Deputy Chief Education Officer (Dy CEO) Ramban, Bal Ji Thaploo was the Chief Guest who unfurled the National Flag . Zonal Education Officer Ramban Zubaida Parveen, Chief Patron of School Dr Mohan Lal Sharma, President School Committee Subash Kapoor and other dignitaries were also presided over the function.
AKHNOOR: On the occasion of 67th Republic Day celebration was celebrated at Government Higher Secondary School Akhnoor (GHSSA) for Boys in which all government and private schools of Akhnoor town participated in marched pass and other cultural programmes.
On the occasion of Republic Day celebration Sub District Magistrate (SDM) Akhnoor Suresh Chander Sharma was the Chief Guest and Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) was the Guest of Honour who hoisted the Tricolor.
67th Republic Day Celebrated with great fervour and enthusiasm at Govt. High school Seri Palai, Zone Khour. Col. Pradeep Rana of 6 Madras was the Chief Guest and unfurled the National Flag. Ram Rattan, master of the institution hosted the function along with his colleagues, Puran Shastri, Renu Sharma, Kewal Verma, Bodh Raj, Vijay Kumar, Raj Kumar, Sanjay Kumar. Rattan Lal Sharma, Sarpanch of village Seri Palai was also present in the function.
NOWSHERA: Republic Day was celebrated at Nowshera in which SDM Nowshera Harbans Lal Sharma who was the Chief Guest of the event hoisted the National Flag. MLA Nowshera Ravinder Raina also attended the programme. Amongst others DFO Nowshera and Additional Sp Nowshera Rakesh Kumar were present as Guests of Honour.
UDHAMPUR: Republic Day was celebrated in the premises of Govt High school Sattani , Udhampur in which Headmaster of the School Mridula Sharma who was the Chief Guest hoisted the Ntaional Flag.
Sarpanch, Panch, VEC members of school along with staff and students of the institution were also present on the occasion. On the occasion, Suman Sharma was awarded a trophy for her excellent performance by the Headmaster and Committee Members. Teachers Poonam and Shweta anchored the function.
The Republic Day function in Barrian Mohalla was organised by Indian National Trade Union Congress State Secretary Sumeet Magotra. A large number of people of Barrian Mohalla were present and they decided this time National Flag will hoisted by senior Citizen of the Mohalla 95 years old Dina Nath Padha.
67th Republic Day was celebrated with gaiety, enthusiasm and national spirit at district, Sub Division and Tehsil level in Udhampur.
The main function was held in the premises of Govt. PG Degree College for Boys, where the District Development Commissioner, Udhampur, Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary was the Chief Guest, hoisted the National flag, inspected parade and took salute at an impressive march past.
MLA Udhampur, Pawan Kumar Gupta, MLA Chenani, Dinanath Bhagat, DIG Udhampur-Reasi Range, Surinder Gupta, SSP Udhampur, Suleiman Choudhary, Additional District Development Commissioner, Arvind Sharma, Additional Deputy Commissioner, A S Rana, Joint Director Planning , Rakesh Jamwal, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Rajeev Magotra, District Officers, prominent citizens, students and people in large number were present on the occasion.
Naib Tehsildar Mali Balwant Singh unfurled the Tricolor in the premises of Govt. Hr Sec. School Krimachi in Udhampur. District Congress Committee (DCC) Udhampur Ashok Gupta hoisted the Tricolor in Shaheed Bhagat Singh Park Udhampur. At Govt. Middle school Dadura, Head Master of the School Rameshwar Sharma hoisted the National Flag and in Govt. Higher Secondary School Ghordi Naib Tehsldar Ved Parkash unfurled the Tricolor. Principal of the School Rashpal Singh was also present. Medical Employees Udhampur also celebrated 67th R-Day in Udhampur. On this occasion CMO Dr. Chandar Parkash unfurled the National Flag in the premises of the office.
Lok Vikas Dal (LVD) also celebrated 67th R-Day in Udhampur wherein State President of the Dal Vikram Singh Slathia hoisted Tricolor near Slathia Chowk.
Udhampur Jail inmates also celebrated the R’ Day where Jail Warden hoisted National Flag in the premises of Jail in Udhampur.
A function to celebrate the 67th Republic Day was centrally organized by the residents of village Khoon in Government Higher Secondary School Khoon. The function was presided over by Social Activist S.S Sumbria.
The Chief Guest Principal of the School B.P Sharma unfurled the Tricolour amid singing of National Anthem. The Chief Guest later distributed the prizes to the meritorious students of the school. The students on this occasion presented the cultural programme also.
Prominent among those present include Sarpanch Romesh Chander, Chain Singh, Ved Sharma, Romal Singh and others.
BHADARWAH, The 67th Republic Day function was held in the premises of Government Higher Secondary School Boys Bhadarwah, where the SDM Bhadarwah Mohd Anwar Banday hoisted the National Flag.
On the occasion SDM Bhadarwah Mohd Anwar Banday was the chief guest while Tehsildar Bhadarwah Dr Amir Hussain Zarger ,ASP Bhadarwah Amit Bhasin and SDPO Bhadarwah Sardar Sajjad Ahmed Khan were the guest of Honour.
BISHNAH: Block Congress Commitee Bishnah Celebrated 67th Republic Day at party office Kanhal, where Shashi Sharma Secy Pardesh Congress Committee unfurled the National Flag.
Vijay Kumar, Subhash Chander, Tilak Raj, Rajesh Kumar, Rattan Chand, Chunni Lal, Bishan Das and Ram Lal.
Meanwhile Republic Day was celebrated with fervour and enthusiasm at Tara Chowk, Bishnah. Chief Guest on the occasion M. K. Bhardwaj, Senior Advocate and Member of JKPCC Executive Committee unfurled the National Flag. Speaking on the occasion Bhardwaj appealed to the youth to come forward to build a united India and warned them against falling prey to divisive politics adopted by political parties.
The function was attended by Ashwani Puri, Kirpal Singh, Sunita Kundal, Ajay Kumr, Kasturi Lal, Vijay Sharma, Rajesh Sharma, Bishan Dass, Vishal Kumar, Raman Sharma, Ashwani Kumar, Surinder Singh, Ranjeet Singh, Madan Bhagat, Sain Das, amongst others.
SURANKOTE: The Tiger Division, Delta Force and Romeo Force celebrated 67th Republic Day alongwith the locals and children of Surankot, Thanamandi, Palma, Bhaderwah and Army Public School, Pargwal with great pomp and show. The function started with hoisting of the National Flag and singing of National Anthem in presence of locals, school children and Veterans.
The local children of Surankot, Thanamandi, Palma and Bhaderwah performed various cultural activities on the theme of National Integration. The performances by the children were praise worthing and filled with passion. The spirit and zeal shown by the children during the function displayed National Integrity and amity amongst different communities of the region. Later, sweets were distributed to the children.
KATHUA: Govt. Higher Secondary School Nagri-Parole celebrated the 67th Republic Day function in the school premises. The Tehsildar Nagri-Parole Madan Lal was the Chief Guest and BDO Nagri was the Guest of Honour and vote of thanks was presented by the Principal Narinder Singh Sambyal.
District Congress Committee celebrated the function with enthusiasm. District Congress Committee President Former MLC Subash Chander Sharma who was the Chief Guest, hoisted the Tri-color.
Naresh Sharma, Pankaj Dogra, Nirdosh Sharma, Aradhana Andotra, Kulbir Singh Pathania, Yugal Kishore Bali,Sohan lal president Bcc Kathua, S P Chandel, S Mohinder Singh, Sardar Khan, Karan Bhagat, Tarsem Lal, Pawan Sharma, Ravinderpal Singh, Pushpa Majotra, Devo Rani, Pankaj Sharma, Anant Ram Dogra, Som Dutt, K C Bhagat, Ramesh Kumar, Ruldu Ram, Satish Sharma, Parmjeet Sharma and dozens of student from various schools were present on the occasion.
At Govt. ITI Kathua 67th Republic Day was celebrated in which Superintendent ITI Kathua Naresh Singh was the Chief Guest who hoisted the Tricolor.
The Republic Day was celebrated in Kendriya Vidyalaya Kathua with great enthusiasm in which Rajinder Kumar Badkulia hoisted the National Flag.
R.S PURA: At the PVC Bana Singh Stadium SDM R.S Pura unfurled the National Flag .On the occasion MLA RS Pura and Political Advisor to State BJP President Dr.Gagan Bhagat, SP(HQ) Ramesh Kotwal, Tehsildaar R.S Pura Abhishek Abrol, SDPO RS Pura Harjeet Singh, BD O R.S Pura Sanchi Devi, BDO Miran Sahib Naresh Digra, AEE RNB Arvind Langeh, EO RS Pura Jodhraj, TSO RS Pura Ashwani Sharma, TSO Miran Sahib Ajay Khajuria, Principal GGHSS Poonam Sharma, Princiopal GBHSS Nirmal Choudhary ZEO R.S Pura Ranjeet Kour, ZEO Miran Sahib Subhash Verma, AEE PHE Ravinder Bhatti, AEE REW Parvez Bhatti were present. Prominent among those who were present included Principal GHSS KR Bharti, Rajinder Sharma, Yash Paul, Jagdish Raj, Charanjeet ,Tilak Raj, Pratap Bhagat, Amar Singh Charak, Dwarka Nath, Omkar Singh, Hardev Sassan, Amir Singh and others.
HIRANAGAR: Republic day celebrated with enthusiasm and patriotism at various places in Hiranagar and Ghagwal Sub Divisions. SDM Ghagwal Charanjeet Singh hoisted National Flag at a function at Hr. Sec. School Ghagwal, Vijay Kumar Dogra commandant ITBP 47 Battalion hoisted Tricolour at ITBP Camp Rai Ghagwal whereas SSP Jail Lazer Khandiarye hoisted the National Flag in Hiranagar Sub Jail Premises .Tehsildar Preeti Sharma hoisted National flag at Border Tehsil Rajpura.
MENDHAR: 67th ‘Republic Day’ function was celebrated at Pine Wood School, Sabra alongwith local population.
In a glittering ceremony, the Tricolour was unfurled by Commander, BG Bde.
In the series of 67th Republic day celebrations Tricolour was also unfurled in Govt Middle School at Dehri village by Second-in-Command, Mendhar Battalion.
