RAJOURI: Rashtriya Rifles, Battalion under Delta Force organised lecture on ‘Drug Abuse and Narco Terrorism for the youth at Sarna, today. Medical Officer from the Rashtriya Rifles Battalion delivered the lecture on Drug Abuse and Narco Terrorism.
He elucidated various points on drug abuse and its effects in the day to day life. He educated them in detail on various type of Drugs available in the market to include, Club Drugs, Cocaine, Heroin, Hallucinogens, Inhalants, Synthetic Marijuana, Methamphetamine, Cold Medicines, Salvia, Steroids and other commonly used drugs.
He also emphasised on the various aspects like Drunken Driving, Drugs and the Brain, Medical Consequences, Mental Health and its Prevention and treatment. The endeavour of the lecture was to educate them about the menace of the drugs.
A total of 46 youth participated in the lecture. Mr. Md Ashraf, Sarpanch Sitengal, Chief Guest appreciated the measures enunciated by the event to keep the youth away from drugs and also to choose a healthy and progressive life.
