JAMMU: To spread awareness about NDA Government’s flagship schemes viz Laadli Beti, Beti Padhao Beti Bachao and AASRA, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Women Wing, Jammu on Sunday organised a meeting of party workers and other supporters in Ward No 45 of Digiana.
The meeting was organised by senior BJP leader Rajni Sethi, State Secretary and Spokesperson, Mahila Morcha and Poornima Sharma, President of Mohila Morcha was also present along with Suman Lata.
BJP leaders informed party workers to propagate the message about the ambitious schemes especially to parents of girl child so that they can take maximum advantage. The benefits of the scheme can be held by a girl child born on or after 1st April 2015.
Rajni Sethi said due to declining sex ratio of girl child the Union Government has launched several impressive schemes to spread awareness among the rural masses so that more girls can enroll themselves in school education system and take benefit of government schemes.
