JAMMU: In an extensive meeting B.R Sharma, Chief Secretary briefed Governor N.N Vohra about the pressing issues which relate to the functioning of the Power Development Department (PDD), here at the Raj Bhavan. Among the decisions taken, the Governor nominated Dheeraj Gupta, Commissioner Secretary, PDD to serve as Director on the Board of Directors of Chenab Valley Power Projects Private Limited (CVPPL). A decision in this matter had been pending for over a year, also leading to non involvement of the CVPPL in decision making.
