Bhadarwah/Ramban: DIG Ramban , Doda and Kishtwar Range Nisar Ahmed Khan visited Banihal and hold series of meetings with senior police officers of the districts in which security related matters were discussed.
DIG said that the aim of this meeting was a review of security like Jawahar Tunnel, Railway Tunnel, Railway Station Banihal in order to make the satisfactory security arrangements.
While talking to our correspondent DIG said that Police is vigilant and alert regarding Republic Day celebrations and adding police are always connected with people and it is the duty of every citizen to cooperate with police on every corner.
DIG Nisar Ahmed Khan also said that the vested elements who try to make the disturbance in National Projects like Banihal -Ramban 4 lane, strict action will be taken against those who will make the undue disturbance and those who misguide the people.
Those who were present including SSP Ramban Randeep Kumar, SDPO Banihal Rafiq Chaudhary ,SHO Banihal Nazir Ahmed Dar, CO 12RR Sumersh Chatergee , Naib Tehsildar Abdul Salam Wani, SHO GRP Vijay Kumar and officials of SSB,CRPF and RR.
