POONCH: Rashtriya Rifles Battalion Daraba won the volleyball tournament organised by Rashtriya Rifles Battalion of Romeo Force under Sadbhavana initiative at Mangnar in Poonch District, here.
In the final played on Saturday, Rashtriya Rifles Battalion Daraba defeated Government High School Jhullas.
“The tournament organised was to encourage the youth of the area to participate in sports activities and channelise the youth in constructive activities which would benefit them in their overall health and growth,” Defence Spokesperson Lt Col Manish Mehta said.
Prizes to the winning team were given in presence of Sarpanchs and locals of nearby villages.
