JK Public School Kunjwani wins State Level Painting Competition

JAMMU: The Ministry of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, conducted the Sixth State Level Painting Competition on Water Conservation on 20th January, 2016.
In all, 50 paintings from schools across the State were selected by a Board of Jury including the Nodal Officer of the Ministry.
A total of 50 students participated in the State level competition at Auditorium of Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine, Canal
Road, Jammu.
The aim of this painting competition was to make the children aware of the need of conserving
the precious water resource.
For the paintings children were taken to the Tawi River Front Park, Jammu to make them visualise what they aspire to draw on paper.
Two students of JK Public School, Kunjwani namely Jahanvi Choudhary, Class VIII and Shiya Saini of Class VII participated and made the school proud.
Jahanvi Choudhary won the first prize and Shiya Saini was awarded with a consolation prize.
