NOWSHERA: The residents of village Chowki, Hundan, Sair, Makri, Nonial and adjoining areas expressed resentment against the Block Development Officer (BDO) Nowshera for non-payment of expenditure incurred by the villagers for construction of toilets under the announced scheme.
They said that they visited the offices of Rural Development but the payment was not released adding that the funds were also available with the BDO but the reasons for delay were not understood.
The STATE TIMES contacted BDO who said that the first installment of payment of those toilets which have been completed, has already been released and the subsequent payment will be cleared on receipt of funds.
