JAMMU: Students of the GD Goenka Public School won 12 medals in 12th J and K State Wushu Championship at Indoor Hall, MA Stadium, here recently.
The medal winners are Tanishka Tickoo and Aditya Tickoo (Gold), Rajveer Tandon (Silver), Rajat Thappa, Shivang Singh, Mitul Gupta, Ranveer Tandon, Deepankar Baloria, Shushant Bhagat, Chanakya Bakshi and Luv Sharma (Bronze).
They were coached by their coach Abhishek Jamwal. The Principal of the School, Dr. R.P Singh congratulated all and said that these youngsters are paving the way for students to become a little rough and tough (mentally and physically), which is the pre-requisite of the 21st Century.
