DPS students bring laurels in Inter-DPS Competitions

JAMMU: Delhi Public School Society organised an Inter-DPS National Annual Heritage Festival and Art Exhibition ‘Itihaas Ka Jharoke Se’ 2015 to celebrate the Indian Heritage at DPS Noida, Uttar Pradesh in December, 2015.
It also conducted Science and Maths Talent Examination in association with SOF for class IX in November, 2015.
Riya Rastogi of class XII who participated in the Inter DPS National Heritage Festival and Art Exhibition 2015 won ‘Special Jury Award’ in category B, ‘Folk Theatre’. The award was conferred upon her on the basis of originality, creativity, relevance to the proposed theme and visual impact projection.
While Aru Bhola of class IX, DPS Jammu won a Merit Award in SMTE level II exam organised by the Delhi Public School Society and Science Olympiad Foundation. She performed well in the said examination and got an inter DPS Rank of 202 out of 600 students who qualified for the level II exam.
In a special assembly held on Tuesday, Principal DPS Jammu, Ruchi Chabra lauded the efforts of both the students and congratulated their parents. She said that such achievements encourage and motivate other students to both improve and excel in their respective fields.
Ajatshatru Singh, President RCT, Kunwrani Ritu Singh, Pro-Vice Chairperson DPS Jammu and S.S Sodhi, Director DPS Jammu also congratulated the students. They also blessed them for their bright future.
