JAMMU: Adarsh Shiva High School Muthi celebrated Annual Day-cum-Prize Distribution Function here on Saturday.
M.R Pakhroo, Joint Secretary of J and K Board of School Education (BOSE) was the Chief Guest while Kamal Gupta, President of Private School Association was the Guest of Honour.
Chairman, B.D Sharma, Vice-Chairman, Rajinder Koul and Coordinator, Nisha Sharma were also present.
The function started with the lighting of the traditional lamp by the Chief Guest along with the Guest of Honour followed by Saraswati Vandana.
Principal of the School, Rajni Koul read out annual report highlighting academic and co-curricular activities of the school besides various achievements of the school during the year.
Students presented various colourful items viz Dogri, Punjabi, Kashmiri and solo dance which were appreciated by the audience. Fancy dress show was performed by small kids.
The Chief Guest and the Guest of Honour lavished praise regarding the school for providing quality atmosphere in grooming the students.
Later mementoes and certificates were distributed among the students who excelled in academic and other fields. School uniforms were also given to needy students.
