JAMMU: Khalsa Club shall take on 20 Punjab in the final of the Jammu District Senior (men) Hockey Tournament, organised by the Hockey Jammu and Kashmir and sponsored by J and K State Sports Council (JKSSC) at KK Hakku Stadium, here.
Earlier, in the semifinals, played on Saturday, Khalsa Club outplayed BSF Kashmir 4-1. Gurveer Singh (fourth), Gurpreet Singh (ninth), Balmeet Singh (32nd) and Agamdeep Singh (57th) were the scorers. From BSF Kashmir, Amrit Lakra netted the lone goal striking in the 47th minute of the match.
In other semifinal of the day, 20 Punjab blanked MBS Simbal Camp 4-0. Charanveer Singh (seventh and 59th) struck twice while Jaskaran (44th) and Sukhminder Singh (50th) were other scorers.
