JAMMU: The 349th Parkash Purab of 10th Guru Gobind Singh Ji is being celebrated on 16th January from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Sant Mela Singh College of Education, Digiana, Jammu under the supervision of 108 Mahant Manjit Singh of Shiromani Dera Nangali Sahib, Poonch by the cooperation of DGPC Jammu and various Sikh organisations.
Addressing the media, Avtar Singh Khalsa, Member DGPC, Jammu as also General Secretary Sikh United Front, J and K, informed that many Ragis, religious preachers within and outside State are participating in the Parkash Purab celebration and would throw light on the life and history of Guru Ji.
Giani Jagdev Singh, religious preacher SGPC Amritsar, Giani Amrik Singh Dhadi Jatha from Pathankot, Bibi Jaspreet Kour Ragi Jatha of Patiala Wale and Swaran Singh Khalsa Religious Preacher of SGPC Amritsar, Incharge Sikh Mission, J and K, are attending the function.
The members of DGPC, Jammu and leaders of various Sikh organisations jointly appealed to the Sikh Sangat and general masses to participate in the Parkash Utsav on 16th January, 2016. The Guru Ka Langar shall also be served among the participants. The organisers who are cooperating in the religious congregation include Surinder Singh Kala, Convenor, J&K Motor Transport Companies Association, Jammu, Ramneek Singh, Raja Singh, Darbinder Singh and Fateh Singh, Member DGPC, Jammu, Mohinder Singh, Paramjeet Singh, Ghajan Singh, Kulwant Singh, Harpal Singh Prince, Rajinder Singh, Kultar Singh, Tej Pal Singh, Manmohan Singh Chairman Gole Gujral and Kapoor Singh Datta.
