Shiv Sena slams PM Modi over Pakistan visit

JAMMU: Shiv Sena (Bala Sahib Thackery), Jammu and Kashmir, on Thursday lashed out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his visit to Pakistan in the last week of December last year.
While addressing the press conference, State President of Shiv Sena, Dimpy Kohli, General Secretary G.I Singh, Vice President Sandeep Bhagat, State Secretary Raj Singh, Youth President Vishal Kohli criticised the Prime Minister over paying a surprise visit to Pakistan and stated that the political career of any politician, who has visited Pakistan, has finished.
Kohli said that Narendra Modi’s tea party with Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif proved very costly as militants attacked on Pathankot Air Base claiming life of seven brave soldiers after that.
Kohli on the occasion gave his heartfelt sympathies to the families of soldiers who martyred their life in the service of nation.
He said that Shiv Sena is of the opinion that Indian Govt. must break all the ties with Pakistan and increase surveillance on borders.
He further said strong reaction by India is a necessity of the time and it is necessary to cancel Foreign Secretary level talks between the two countries which are due this month. Shiv Sena leaders also condoled the demise of Mufti Mohammed Sayeed.
