NGO conducts camp on polio eradication

UDHAMPUR: The members of NGO ‘Jiyo Aur Jeene Do’ Thursday organised an awareness camp at village Dhanori to ensure eradication of disease like polio.
A large number of people attended the camp in which NGO appealed local villagers to visit nearest polio booth to provide polio drops to their children under five years of age.
The president of NGO Tariq Shah while addressing the gathering said, our NGO has come here among these people to aware them about the pulse polio campaign for which they need to go to their respective polio booths on 23 rd of this month to give two drops of vaccination to all the children under five years of age. No child should remain deprived of various health schemes and educational facilities, he said. Those who attended the camp included Vinod, Mohanlal (social worker) Kamla, Mamta, Hardev, Raju, Rockey, Robin, Gagan, Arun, Sheetal, Shakuntla, Anshu, Vikrant, Geeta and others. The members of NGO Sanjay, Vijay, Secretary Kusum, co ordinator Aftab Bali, student representative Baldev, Krishna, Anu, Rahul Singh, Sahil, Tarun were also present in the awareness camp.
