Three structures damaged in fire

SRINAGAR: Three structures were damaged in three separate fire incidents in Anantnag and Srinagar on wednesday.
Fire broke out at Sheerbagh, Anantnag in the old exchange building, resulting in its partial damage. Fire tenders brought fire under control with the help of police and locals.
Meanwhile, fire broke out in a cricket bat manufacturing unit belonging to one Fayaz Ahmad Sofi son of Rajab Sofi resident of Sather Sangam at Halmulla Sangam, Anantnag, resulting in partial damage to the structure. Fire tenders were pressed into service to bring the fire under control with the help of police and locals.
In another incident, fire broke out in the Kiryana shop of Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat son of Abdul Aziz resident of Harwan situated at Harwan, resulting in complete damage to the shop. Fire tenders brought fire under control with the help of police and locals. However, no loss of life or injury was reported in these fire incidents.
