JAMMU: ‘THE-SARA’, a registered NGO working on crisis support and suicide prevention, on Wednesday under its ‘Health is Wealth’ initiative donated lot of medicines to Swami Vivekananda Medical Mission Charitable Hospital, Ved Mandir Amphalla, here.
The donated medicines shall be utilised for the treatment of poor patients in the hospital.
“THE – SARA under its ‘Health Is Wealth’ initiative time to time provides medical relief to the needy people and distributes medicines free of cost to various organisations who are engaged in providing medical relief to the masses,” Dr. Raminder Jit Singh, a member said. Prominent ‘THE – SARA’ members including Gurjeet Kour, Manpreet Kour and staff members of the hospital were present on the occasion.
