JAMMU: The Higher Secondary Wing of the St. Peter’s Higher Secondary School celebrated the Annual Sports Day.
The science stream won the rolling trophy with the margin of 50 points.
The celebration included field and track events for both boys and girls. On the occasion, Fr. Robin Cerejo, the Chief Guest of the Day, congratulated each and every student.
He also said that such event will create discipline, integrity and excellence among students. The students’ representatives thanked the management and staff for organising this event.
Meanwhile, an exhibition of art, craft, and painting was also held at the school. The students under guidance of Jyoti Rani exhibited their paintings comprising of various categories like acrylic, collage, drawing encaustic, graphite, mosaics, oils, pastels, pen and ink, pencil and water-colours etc. applied on canvas, paper, and flat surfaces like stones and waste materials. The principal congratulated all the students and expressed that such exhibition would help students to unearth hidden talents.
