UDHAMPUR: A large number of local people of Udhampur town held a protest on Hospital Road to show resentment against the CAPD Udhampur for not supplying ration to the public. Led by Sanjay Kumar, protesters assembled at Hospital Road in Udhampur, blocked the road and also raised slogans against the particular department and local administration. Protestors alleged that CAPD has failed to provide ration and kerosene oil to the public for the last couple of months and selling it at high rates clandestinely.
They alleged that despite their repeated requests concerned department as well as local administration has closed eyes towards their miseries and adding chaos and harassment to them. They urged the Govt. to ensure regular supply of ration and kerosene oil otherwise they shall be constrained to come on the road in big way in days to come.
