REASI: Continuing his efforts to give 100 per cent coverage of Aadhar Cards, Tehsildar Rajesh Baru on Saturday flagged off a mobile van which will ply in the interior regions of far flung Tehsil Thakrakote.
The move is aimed to create massive awareness among various sections of the society regarding importance of making Aadhar Cards and at the same time to capture biometrics of left out population.
Mobile van so flagged off is fully equipped with five Biometric Capturing Machines alongwith a team of five members to create mass awareness for rural participation in the process.
It is only with the personal intervention and support of Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Tehsildar Thakrakote has recently done a successful drive by sending teams will all technical support including Generator Set in different nooks and corners of the area to cover leftover population in the Tehsil whereby more than six thousand of population was covered in merely one month.
