JAMMU: Shiv Shakti Club won the cricket tournament which was organised by Bajjigar Sabha of Bahu Fort at Bahu Fort Har-ki-Pouri, here on Tuesday.
In the title clash, Bahu Fort Club defeated Shiv Shakti Club by 11 runs.
Earlier, batting first, Shiv Shakti made 84 runs in given 12 overs. In reply, Bahu Fort Club could not chase the total and was bowled out for 73 runs to lose the final.
The winner team was awarded with a cash prize of Rs 1,100 by the organisers. In the valedictory function, Congress leader, Girdhari Lal was Chief Guest, who gave away the title trophies and other individual prizes.
Vice President of Bajjigar Sabha, Tara Ram, Hans Raj, Vijay Kumar, Kamal Kumar, Rattan Chand and Soni Ram were among other prominent persons present.
