JAMMU: National Federation of Blind congratulated first blind candidate of the State Angrez Singh, son of Krishan Chand and Soma Devi, resident of village Dhar, Tehsil Mahanpur, district Kathua who has qualified National Eligibility Test-Junior Research Fellowship (NET-JRF) in Political Science, the result of which was declared by University Grants Commission (UGC) recently.
President NFB, J and K, Ram Paul, while appreciating the efforts putt in by visually handicapped perhaps first in the J and K State, said this achievement of Angrez Singh will encourage other visually handicapped persons. He wished Angrez all the success in his endeavours.
