New Delhi:- Railways have carried 182.72 million tonnes (MT) of freight during April-May this year, an increase of 1.22 per cent over the figure for the corresponding period last year.
Railways transported 92.91 MT freight in May this year, an increase of 1.19 MT over the same period last year, showing an increase of 1.30 percent, according to Railway Ministry data.
