SRINAGAR: The Director General of Police (DGP), K. Rajendra Kumar, on Tuesday promoted 25 Sub-Inspectors of J and K Armed Police to the rank of Inspectors in the pay scale of Rs (9300-34800+4280 GP) with immediate effect.
The promotes include Madan Lal, Ram Lal, Abdul Majeed, Tabraiz Ahmed Khan, Vivek Bassan, Vikas Sharma, Vinod Kumar, Sumesh Padha, Anoop Singh, Bir Bhadur Singh, Mushtq Ahmed, Bupinder Singh, Mohammad Rafiq, Surjit Singh, Manzoor Ahmed, Rayees Azam, Gagan Singh, Romesh Singh, Dil Mohammad, Parshotum Lal, Zulfikar Ali, Kaka Singh. Tundup Wangyal, Bachan Singh and Sardari Lal.
Rajendra congratulated the promoted Inspectors and stressed upon them to rededicate themselves for public service, said that the department would take efforts to create promotion avenues for all ranks of the force. Vacancies in the department would be fulfilled on priority. He asked the officers to update the service records of all officials so that the timely promotions are made.
