JAMMU: In connection with World Environment Day, 92.7 Big FM organised Inter School Painting Competition on the theme ‘Pani Bachao, Life Banao’. The participating students were divided into two categories viz Junior and Senior from the age group 5 to 8 and 9 to 16 years respectively.
It was an attempt to get this competition entered into ‘LIMCA Book of Records’ by making them paint on the same theme at the same time across 45 cities of India where 92.7 Big FM stations are located.
Prathamansh Sharma of class IV student of DPS Jammu won Ist prize in Junior group whereas Seerat Gupta of class VIII and Vanshee Koul of class X of DPS Jammu won first and second prize in Senior group respectively.
Headmistresses Ruchi Chabra, Delhi Public School, Jammu and Meenu Gupta (upto Middle School) congratulated the winners for bringing laurels to the school.
Dr. D. Joseph, Additional Director / Principal Delhi Public School Jammu conveyed her congratulations to the students for their brilliant performance and also blessed them for their bright future.
