KATHUA: BJP Kathua unit in connection with Maha Sampark Abhyian organised a meeting which was presided over by MLA Kathua Rajeev Jasrotia along with Organisational General Secretary Inderjeet to discuss Maha Sampark Abhyian in Kathua to connect with the newly-enrolled members and motivate them to actively participate in various activities of the party.
“BJP is a cadre-based organisation and not a family party. It has internal democracy, a simple ground-level worker could also lead the party,” BJP State General Secretary and MLA Kathua, Rajiv Jasrotia said adding that Narendra Modi Government at the Centre is working tirelessly for economic growth of the country, Prime Minister has given a transparent and effective administration.
He exhorted the BJP workers to highlight the achievements of the government. He also listed the welfare schemes rolled out by the government including the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jivan Jyoti Yojana and Atal Pension Yojana meant for the economic uplift and social security of poor.The Beti Bachao and Beti Padhao scheme would benefit girl children, he said and called upon the people to avail the benfits of these schemes.
Shashi Pal Sharma Advocate Prabhari Maha Sampark Abhyian Kathua announced the appointment of the Vikas Kant Gupta Adv as Prabhari Maha Sampark Abhiyan Kathua Mandal and addressed the party office bearers and senior workers. He briefed them about how to conduct the ongoing Maha Sampark Abhiyan to reach to grass root levels and how to contact new members and to highlight achievements of BJP led Central Government in last one year and performance of State Govt in last 100 days. Prominent among those who attended-Gopal Mahajan, Biki Sharma, Smt Chanchala Devi, Dr Narinder Jasrotia, Pankaj Raja and Rekha. A word of thanks was presented by Anil Sharma Seh Pramukh.
