Touring Delhi College students meet SSP

RAMBAN: A team of 20 students and two teachers of Sri Venkteshwara College of Delhi University led by Captain Chandan Singh Tomar on an educational tour organised by 23 RR (Rajput), under Operation Sadbhavna on Monday met Randeep Kumar, SSP Ramban.
SSP Ramban had a detailed interaction with these students. He praised the initiative taken by Indian Army to expose the young students from metro cities to know about the hilly and rural terrain especially the militancy infested area. He said Jammu and Kashmir was an integral part of India and any force which would try to challenge the peace of the country by spreading terror and hatred would be defeated, if we all remain united. He said the youth should take the responsibility of evoking and strengthening the feeling of unity among people of the country adding the youth should take the responsibility of evoking and strengthening the feeling of unity among people of the country. He expressed gratitude towards the Indian Army and para-military personnel for their service rendered in rescue and relief operations. He said they were the pride and soul of India. He asked the young students to follow the path of truth, righteousness, secularism, communal harmony and nationalism.
SSP Ramban urged the visiting students to care of Law of Land especially the traffic rules as well as for the environment and inculcate a spirit of love for nature and its resources. Officers from the 23 RR also accompanied the students while having interaction of students with District Police Chief. All students were presented with a memento by the SSP.
