KC Gurukul students visit museum, aquarium

JAMMU: As part of ten days summer camp activity, students of KC Gurukul Public School organized an outing for students to Bagh-e-Bahu aquarium and Hari Niwas Palace on Sunday. Children of age group 3 to 6 visited the aquarium and a visit to Hari Niwas Museum was made by the students of age 6 onwards.

At Both the places the social message was spread by the enthusiastic children through the display of banners like ‘Save the Girl Child ‘, ‘Plant more and more trees’, ‘Use dustbin’, ’Save marine life’, ‘Preserve our Heritage’, ‘Stop polluting the environment’, ‘Say no to polythene’ etc. The Chairman of the School, Arvind Mahajan appreciated the efforts of students as well as teachers. The Academic Director, Vijay Puri said ‘the purpose of the outing was to give the awareness to children for the protection of the environment’.
