POONCH: A public grievance redressal camp was organised by the District Administration Poonch in Tehsil Balakote in Mendhar on Sunday.
The Deputy Commissioner, Nisar Ahmed Wani, Senior Superintendent of Police, J.S Johar and ACD, Basharat Hussain along with the Executive Engineers of PDD, PMGSY, PHE and I and FC, other district officers, sub-divisional officers of Mendhar besides Sarpanchs, Panchs and locals were present on the occasion.
Issues pertaining to water and power supply, border shelling, ration and cooking gas, better road connectivity , upgradation of schools, liability under MGNREGA, issue of ration as per 2011 census besides other developmental issues were discussed.
The Deputy Commissioner assured prompt redressal of genuine issues raised by the locals and directed the concerned officers to reach out to the people in remote corners of the district and ensure efficient delivery of public services.
