DODA: District President Medical Employees Federation Doda Mehboob Kraipak and District President NRHM Paramedical and Management Association Doda Faizan Ali Tramboo have expressed their grief over the sad demise of veteran Congress leader and former MP, Mir Ghulam Mohammad Poonchi who died yesterday.
In their condolence messages, Mehboob Kraipak and Faizan Ali Tramboo paid rich tributes to the deceased and described him as a visionary leader who always worked for uplift of weaker sections of society.
They also conveyed their sympathies to the bereaved family, in particular to his son Dr Shamim Mir, Incharge Controller of Stores Jammu in JK Health Department and prayed for peace to the departed soul.
NOWSHERA : Rich tributes were paid to veteran Congress leader G. M Mir Poonchi by the senior Congress leader and former Minister Dr R.C Sharma and other Congress leadership of Sub District Nowshera.
Congress leaders and workers held a condolence meeting under the chairmanship of Dr R.C Sharma in which the participants observed two minutes silence and prayed to Almighty to give peace to the departed soul and courage to the family members to bear this loss.
Prominent among others present in the meeting include Subash Kapoorm, Jagdish Chander Sahney, Adv Rajinder Parshad and Rajinder Choudhary.
