UDHAMPUR: Workers engaged in tunnel construction work at Chenani on Friday boycotted work and held a protest outside the tunnel premises to show their resentment against the construction company for their indifferent attitude towards them.
Protestors raised slogans against the authority and alleged that company is harassing the innocent people and forcing to work beyond scheduled working hours. Protestors did not allow vehicles engaged in work to move and urged local administration and company heads to pay due attention towards their genuine demands so that smooth work can be carried on.
