6 hurt in road accidents

UDHAMPUR: In three different road accidents, six persons got critically injured on Jammu Srinagar National Highway at Udhampur and Dhar Road on Friday.
According to a report, a car was hit by an unknown vehicle near Batote on highway resulting in injuries to persons. Injured were shifted to District Hospital Udhampur and were identified as 35 years Veeru son of Uttam Chand, his wife Swati and Ankush son of Hukam Chand all re residents of Housing Colony Udhampur.
In another road accident, a bike collided with a vehicle bearing No. JK02AC-9492 near bypass road. The injured bikers were identified as 30 years Rajinder Kumar son of Krishan Chander and Pinku son of Chattru both residents of Malhard in Udhampur and were shifted to District Hospital Udhampur.
While in another road accident another biker riding the bike bearing No. JK08C-9270 was hit by a Tavera car coming from opposite direction on Doda road. Victim was shifted to nearby PHC thereafter he was further referred to District Hospital Udhampur. Injured was identified as 18 years Mohd Iqbal son of Lal Din resident of Doda. Udhampur, Batote, Doda and Rehmbal Police have registered the cases and launched the investigation.
