JAMMU: Special Mobile Magistrate Electricity R.H Mirza awarded one year imprisonment to one Bachan Singh, for killing a lady pedestrian namely Harnam Kour by rashly driven matador near Convent crossing on Satwari-Jammu route.
After hearing Senior Prosecuting Officer K.K Kotwal appearing for the State, Special Mobile Magistrate Electricity observed that the prosecution has proved the offences beyond any shadow of doubt as Prosecution witnesses examined in Court have supported the prosecution story, as such accused is found guilty under Sections 279 and 304-A RPC and is convicted accordingly and sentenced to undergo imprisonment for one year and fine Rs. 1,000.
