Shrine board employees discuss problems

KATRA: Shrine Board Em0ployees Union, Katra on Thursday held a meeting under the chairmanship of Raj Kumar in the Union Office, Katra in which General Secretary, Parshotam Singh , Vice-president Latif, Cashier Bankay Lal, Sunil Kumar, Kewal Kumar, Mohd. Shaft and other employees of Shrine Board were present.
Speaking in the meeting President Raj Kumar said that in 1986 when Shrine Board was setup by the then Governor Jagmohan, the objectives to setup a shrine board were to provide all necessary facilities to all shrine board employees and people working from Katra to Bhawan in which there include hotels, shops pithus, pony and locals. But after his tenure was over none other Governor like him gave truly basic facilities as per the guidelines and objectives setup at the time of inauguration of Shrine Board in Katra. Even many employees of Shrine Board are harassed by their seniors and this malpractice is still continuing.
General Secretary Parshotam Singh also spoke in the meeting.
