Goenkans shine in All India Karate C’ship

JAMMU: Nine students of GD Goenka Public School, Jammu participated in the 31st All India Karate Championship, organised by Shito-Ryu Karate School of India from 29th May to 2nd June, 2015 at Uttrakhand.

Srishti Wali clinched gold in Kumite and bronze in Kata, Rakshit Mehta bagged gold in Kumite and silver in Kata, Mumukshu Pratap Singh attained gold in Kumite and silver in Kata, Vasu Vardhan Singh got silver in Kumite and silver in Kata, Ayushman Pandita clinched silver in Kumite and bronze in Kata, Vatsal Gandotra bagged silver in Kumite and bronze in Kata, Dhananjay Singh got bronze in Kumite and bronze in Kata, Aditya Jandial bagged bronze in Kumite and bronze in Kata, Harshit Kohli clinched silver in Kumite and bronze in Kata.

Abhijeet Singh Chib qualified AIKF referee also clinched gold in Kumite and bronze in Kata.

The Principal of the School, Dr. R.P Singh congratulated all the students and their coach Abhijeet Singh Chib for their splendid performance in championship.
