Yudhvir lauds SI Arun’s dedication to duty

JAMMU: Appreciating dedication towards duty of Sub-Inspector Arun Kumar, Senior BJP leader Yudhvir Sethi on Wednesday said that the official has shown high standards of commitment and did not desisted from risking his life while performing duties.

He was speaking at a special prayer meeting organised for speedy recovery of the official.

The prayer meeting was attended by prominent citizens, social workers and representatives of prominent traders association of Jammu city.

SI Arun Kumar was injured while attending call of his duty on 3rd June and has been referred to AIIMS, New Delhi for further specialised treatment.

While extending full support to family of the Sub-Inspector, Yudhvir said that best possible medical aid should be extended for speedy and early recovery of the dedicated official. “The commitment shown by Arun is remarkable and is an example for others to follow in the profession”, he added.

In the meeting, condolences were also offered to the family of the Sikh youth who lost life during the unfortunate agitation at Ranibagh on 4th June 2015.

Among those who were present on the occasion include, President Kanak Mandi Traders Association Vijay Gupta, President Apsara Traders Association Amit Jandyal, NGO National Pride Iqbal Singh, President Upper Jain Bazar Traders Association Arun Sethi, President Pacca Danga Traders Association Harish Gupta, President Swarankar Association Surinder Anand, President Old Hospital Road Traders Association Joginder Mahajan, Chairman All India Panchayat Sangathan and President Gangyal Shopkeepers Association Baldev Singh, Peer Kho Akhara Association Raju Pardhan, President Dhonthali Bazar Traders Association Rajesh Verma, Gali Gujjrian Welfare Association President Pali ji,  Royal Lions Club Ajay Kapoor, President Kali Jani Traders Association Ajay Sawhney, President Centre Basic Traders Association Vipan Kumar, President Purani Mandi Traders Association Surinder Mahajan and President Moti Bazar Traders Association Ashwani Mahajan.

Later, a joint appeal was made for maintaining harmony and brotherhood. A pledge was taken to jointly work for ensuring that all sections of society live with peace and harmony and nefarious designs of those who want to divide society are defeated at all levels.
