PRIDE OR SHAME
The unsung heroes of Indian Army were cremated in parts of the Jammu Division without any semblance of governmental presence. The polarisation was galore even at this hour of grief with senior partner in the government preferring to skip, either by default or by design. This is how double standards work in the sensitive state which has become ‘battlefield’ of ideas. But these ‘ideas’ actually revolve around ‘terrorists and anti-national elements’.
Is it a matter of pride or shame for opportunistic mainstream leaders to beat their chests when anti-national elements get eliminated and tend to be deaf and dumb when soldiers lay their lives?
