Army imparts computer training to students

NOWSHERA: A 20 weeks long basic computer and hardware course in coordination with National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) commenced at Nowshera on Saturday. The computer course is being organised by the Rashtriya Rifles battalion based at Jhangar under the aegis of Rashtriya Rifles Force Headquarters based at Reasi.
The inauguration was conducted in the presence of civil and army dignitaries. A total of 47 students belonging to various schools of Jhangar, Saryah, Bhowani, Kalsian, Lam, Laroka and adjacent villages of Nowshera Tehsil will be imparted basic orientation with computers, functional knowledge of computer accountancy, Tally and other job oriented softwares.
Addressing the youth, the officials informed the
gathering that impetus has been provided towards Information Technology and training during the course which promises to give much needed push to the ever growing aspirations and needs of the locals to join the main stream.
