KULGAM: With a view to promote sports culture in Kulgam District and chisel talent Simnania T-20 Cricket Tournament will be held in the district from 22ND June.
This was decided in the meeting of organising body, held here on Friday under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Ravinder Kumar Bhat. The tournament will be held from 22 June, 2015 for which the registration will be open to cricket clubs and teams of the district from 8th to 15th June.
The registration forms can be obtained and deposited with the District Sports Officer along with registration fee of Rs 500.
The tournament will be organised at the district sports stadium amid sports ambience. Various organisations and banking institutions have consented to sponsor the sports event.
