BHADARWAH: Doda-Bhadarwah Road remained closed for two hours on Friday morning due to landslides near Galgander.
Stranded passengers alleged that concerned Deptt is not working properly as they work on this road at snail’s pace with lethargic attitude.
Official when contacted said that “we are trying to restore the road as well as its maintenance is going on but the continued showers create hurdles in the work”, an official added.
However, road was opened for traffic after two hours of working by men and machinery of concerned Deptt.
It is notable to mention here that for the last five days Bhadarwah Valley is under cold wave due to torrential rains in plains and fresh snowfall in higher reaches of Bhadarwah Valley in Distt-Doda.
