RAJOURI: The casual labourers, need-based workers working in PWD (R&B) in District Rajouri who were on an indefinite strike from 19th May 2015 for redressal of their grievances / fulfillment of their genuine demands called off their strike for one week on the verbal assurances given by Ch. Qumar Hussain, MLA Rajouri Constituency and Vibodh Gupta MLC.
They assured the union to put-up their demands to Chief Minster for early redressal of genuine grievances.
The President of the union Mohammed Riaz Mughal told that the strike is called off for a period of seven days and during this period efforts shall be made to have a meeting with Chief Minster for fulfilling their long pending genuine and just demands.
