JAMMU: State President and MP, Jugal Kishore Sharma demanded magisterial enquiry in the situation arising of unfortunate event leading to death of one person.
A meeting of State BJP executive was held under chairmanship of State President and MP, Jugal Kishore Sharma to take stock of situation arising of unfortunate event of police firing leading to death of one person and imposition of curfew in some areas of Jammu District.
Jugal said “The incident of firing by police is unfortunate and needs detailed magisterial enquiry so that persons involved in it strict action under law can be taken against them.”
He requested State Government to direct magisterial enquiry in the matter.
BJP also requested all communities to maintain peace and communal harmony at this crucial moment to live by example of brotherhood for which Jammu is known.
State BJP also demanded that adequate compensation should be granted to the family of deceased and also the persons who got injured in the incident.
