KCPS student leaves for England on exchange programme

JAMMU: Deepanshu Bhat, a Class XI student of KC Public School, left for England on a student exchange visit. He will join Ellesmere College for the remaining Summer Term ending on 10th July. Ellesmere College located in Leicester, UK, is a well-known residential school and has an arrangement with KC Public School to accommodate one of its students for the Summer Term every year.
Ellesmere has a strong cricketing tradition and students with exceptional skills in cricket are selected to go to Ellesmere. Many students of KC Public School have attended a term at Ellesmere in the past 10 years.
Deepanshu is a gifted cricketer and has specialization in both batting and wicket keeping. He has played cricket in several inter school tournaments at the district level with good batting scores to his credit. During his stay at Ellesmere, he will play quite a few inter school cricket tournaments as a member of the College First Eleven. He is a bright student with a CGPA Grade of 9.3 in the CBSE’s class X examination and will also attend regular classes at Ellesmere besides playing cricket.
