POONCH : In a meeting of officers and officials of Planning and Development Department held under the Chairmanship of Bansi Lal Raina, President Non-Gazetted Employees Association, the participants condemned the enhancement of rent for departmental guest rooms to Rs 1,300 per day at par with Government Circuit house as per the orders of Director General Economics and Statistics on 25th May, 2015.
The participants pointed out that the facilities available in the departmental guest house are not at par with the Government circuit house as such charging of rent according to Circuit house is great injustice. President Non-Gazetted employees Association Bansi Lal appealed to the Director General Economics and Statistics to withdraw the order o 273-DES dated 25th May, 2015. He also appealed to the Director General to empower the Estate Officer of the department allot the Guest room because it is difficult to obtain prior permission.
