JAMMU: Contractors of Estates Division Jammu, under the leadership of Sanjay Soi on Friday held a protest to show their great resentments against the non serious attitude of State administration.
“The contractors are sitting on Dharna for the last about thirteen days, in connection with the release of their payment due for the financial year 2014-15 and also pending arrears from 2007 to 2011, the audit of which has already been done by the Accountant General Office J and K but no official from the administrative deptt. has bothered to listen the grievances,” said Rajinder Kumar, Vice-President of the Contractors Association of the Estate Department.
Raja Mahmood Ahmed said that the contractors will continue their strike till their demands are full-filled.
