JAMMU: The Central Board of School Education (CBSE) declared the Class 10 results for session 2014-15. The students of JK Public School Kunjwani once again notched up a brilliant performance in the CBSE Class 10 examinations with 100 per cent pass percentage. All the 164 students who appeared for the CBSE Examination passed with CGPA greater than 7.
42 students from JK Public School Kunjwani got Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA)-10, 43 students scored CGPA of 9.8 to 9.0, 50 students secured CGPA of 8.8 to 8.0 and 20 students obtained CGPA 7.8 to 7.0.
Students acknowledged the blessings of parents and teachers, which motivated them to do well. Their parents are overjoyed with the results of their children and attribute the success to the regular structured study schedule designed by the school.
Students, while taking to State Times, said that the school had specially put in place a structured study pattern for the each student which was followed right throughout the year. They did a preliminary assessment of the student readiness level basis which a student development plan was designed. This helped them immensely as they could study at their own pace.
“They introduced a buddy system wherein each teacher was kept responsible for the development of a batch of 5-10 students. This helped provide individual attention. Another initiative which was really helped was the remedial study session wherein individual subject teachers took extra classes to clear concepts and doubts” says Vicky Raj
An elated SK Singh, Principal, JK Public School Kunjwani said that he was happy that the school has produced such an outstanding result in the board exam. He was all praise for the students who had worked so hard.
“We were quite confident that the students would perform well. The school ensured that the child’s concepts were crystal clear. However, our job isn’t finished yet, we have to see that our students secure admission in the top colleges in the country and proudly carry the school flag ahead” he added.
“We are quite happy with the response from the parents. We believe that that they have realised the value of the well structured infrastructure at the school which ensures a strong educational base in a student” adds Singh.
Management of JK Public School Kunjwani also expressed happiness at the outstanding results and thanked the students, their parents and teachers for their combined efforts.
The Management congratulated all the meritorious students on the spectacular achievement and wishes good luck for their future accomplishments.
