JAMMU: Sub Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Bhadarwah, Dy SP Sajjad Ahmed Khan was honoured by Uttarakhand Government and Creative Patarkar Union Uttarakhand for exemplary courage shown by him in fighting militancy in J and K, specially during his posting as SHO Police Station Rajbagh Kathua. Sajjad saved precious lives of few Uttarakhand journalists in an operation at Hiranagar, Kathua.
In a function held at Roorki Dehradun, the officer was honoured with certificate and memento and a Shawl by Uttarakhand Tourism Minister Pardeep Batra.
The occasion was also attended by Prabhavati Sour, Chairman Women Commission, S.K Shuklam DIG PHQ Uttarakhand and other senior police/civil officers.
