NOWSHERA : A 10th class student who was studying in Government Boys Higher Secondary School Nowshera attempted to commit suicide by hanging himself late in the evening on Tuesday.
The student identified as Lalit Kumar (16) son of Shiv Rattan was immediately shifted to Sub District Hospital Nowshera but due to his critical condition he was evacuated to Government Medical College Hospital Jammu.
Sister of the student alleged that his brother was intimidated by the school teachers for dire consequences due to which he decided to end his life. The police have registered the case for investigation.
