Jammu: Government College for Women on Tuesday announced postponement of the examinations scheduled for tomorrow to June 5 in the wake of one-day Jammu bandh call given by the AIIMS coordination committee here.
The AIIMS Coordination Committee — an amalgam of more than 70 social, religious and political organisations — has called for a Jammu bandh tomorrow to protest against the shifting of AIIMS from Jammu to Kashmir. All the examinations of students scheduled to be held on May 27 have been postponed due to “unavoidable circumstances”, according to Principal Government College for Women, Parade. The exams would now be conducted on June 5, the principal said.
