POUNICHACK: Department of Agriculture, Sub Division Marh in collaboration with Godrej Agrovet Ltd organised a farmers awareness camp at Panchayat Ghar Pounichak.
A large number of farmers took part in the camp. SDAO Marh K.K Gupta made the farmers aware regarding State as well as Central Sponsored Schemes to avail the benefits of KCC.
S.K Rana and Naseeb Singh from Godrej Agrovet Ltd made aware the farmers to use Vipul plant growth regulator in paddy nursery for better root system, pre emergence use of prelitacholar in the removal of paddy weeds.
Arun Jaral JAEO Pounichak gave detailed lecture on seed treatment, weedicides application, proper water management, less use of insecticides and pesticides, recommend rope method in leaf folder attack and adopt IPM techniques.
Sarpanch Pounichak Ramesh Chander, Panchs, JAEO D.S Bhau, Sanjay Moza, Rajinder Sharma, VAEA Ragini Sharma, Ajay Pal Chowdhary and ReZ Rohit Kapoor, Surinder Kumar and Mohita Sharma were also present on the occasion.
